About the event
Why was Philipse Manor Hall built where it was? Why did the Munsee have a village in downtown Yonkers for thousands of years? How did the Yonkers waterfront change over time? Learn the answers to these questions and more as you explore the daylighted Saw Mill River and Yonkers’ Hudson River waterfront. Tickets include museum admission.
The walking tour takes a circular route of approximately one mile from Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site (located at 29 Warburton Ave., Yonkers, NY) down to the Yonkers Waterfront and back again. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for seniors and students, pay at the door, and include museum admission. Museum open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To reserve your spot please call 914-965-4027 or email sarah.johnson@parks.ny.gov.
