Yonkers “Half-a-millionaire” Horace Vandergelder is looking for a wife. Famous matchmaker Dolly Levi is just the person to find him one. In “Hello, Dolly!” (1969, 148 mins, G), hijinks ensue as everyone from the office clerk on up searches for love in Gilded Age New York! With commentary from Yonkers City Historian Mary Hoar and Philipse Manor Hall interpreter David C. Lucas on the accuracies and inaccuracies of the film, familiar on-location shots, and movie trivia. 

 

Show starts promptly at 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:00 PM. This program is free and open to the public. Seating is first come, first served. Registration is recommended but not required. Refreshments provided by the Friends of Philipse Manor Hall.
