Philipse Manor Hall closes Temporarily

On Saturday May 8th 2021 Philipse Manor Hall closes it’s doors to the public for what is expected to be a 12 month period. In this time the entire site will undergo major improvements. These include the installation of an elevator as well as 4 new restrooms and a commercial kitchen. The grounds will also be improved with the addition of new uplighting on the house, improved sidewalks and parking as well as ADA access to the historic attractions. The interior of the house will also see a significant investment aimed at repairing and restoring the interior spaces and their details. The final result is hoped to be a modern museum that fully represents the entire history of the house, as well the lives of the people, indigenous, slave and free who are a part of this rich and unique history.
